A long time ago (eons in internet years) when I first started blogging publicly, I got some flack from a reader troll who gave me a hard time over the self-absorbed nature of publishing details of my life online. I actually thought he had a point, as I’ve always thought this practice a little strange. His criticism inspired the making of my “I publish intimate details of my life on the internet and I don’t know why” t-shirt, still available here, along with a bunch of other t-shirts I designed that I’d forgotten about. Anyway, I wonder what that guy would think now that I’m actually making a Paperdoll version of myself available for download.
Y’all have asked, and dudes, it feels bizarre, but knock yourselves out. I do plan on drawing some dresses for her at some point, but don’t hold your breath or anything, I have a hundred million things going on right now.
The download should print out on 8.5″ x 11″ paper, but you’ll want to print it on heavy cardstock or printable magnet paper for fun fridge play. If you want a black and white one for your littles to color, let me know, and I’ll add it to my list of things to get around to. Cut on the solid lines, not the dashed lines for actual play, it’ll make the clothes and other tabbed stuff actually fit.
Make sure your printer is NOT set to scale image to fit, or set it to print without margins. If it does scale it, it’s okay, it’ll just be smaller than I intended.
Since my husband might divorce me if I created a Paper Husband to share with the interwebs, maybe you want to set Paperdoll Jessica up with Paper Edward? Download my favorite vampire here. Humongous fan-girl thanks to the awesome Isabel for sending him to me!
p.s. My baby is 5 months old today! How did that happen?
