*Update! I fixed the ‘crescent’ typo, sorry about that!
I wanted to create some sheets for the kids to use with Science Bob’s Oreo Moon Phases idea. The first sheet has some illustrated Oreo shapes you can use to teach the moon phases. Let the children use popsicle sticks to scrape off the Oreo frosting to make their cookie look like the picture.

The second sheet displays the lunar phase names, but no images — you can use this sheet to quiz or test their knowledge!

I first read that title as “Free Mom Phases Download.” I was interested to learn what phase I am in. :)
Ha ha ha! I am apparently in the ‘my house is strewn with play doh phase’ judging by my kitchen table this morning!
Edit: Whoops! Edited a spammy link out of someone’s old comment, and the comment form wanted to remember that poster instead of me. Sorry!
do you know how long it’s been since we had oreo’s? now my kids are begging for some in the name of school.
K. came into my office yesterday afternoon with tell-tale oreo crumbs all over her lips. She held her hands behind her back and innocently asked, “who’s in charge of the oreos?” Ha! As if she hadn’t eaten seventeen of them already.

The best excuse EVER to eat Oreos.
The co-op kids were so delighted they had permission to open them up and eat part of the frosting FOR CLASS. In the name of learning, woot!
